About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at CAE Inc. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in determining the inventory strategy to achieve the target service level while minimizing the inventory value.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Accuracy: Control inventory accuracy of physical goods and correct discrepancies.
  2. Inventory Optimization: Identify the appropriate level needed to meet demand and inventory turns.
  3. Item Master Management: Maintain and control item master parameters.
  4. Inventory Minimization: Minimize inactive and surplus parts while covering for long-term support.
  5. Inventory Variance Control: Control inventory variations and cycle count activities.
  6. Data Analysis: Produce various data analyses related to inventories.
  7. Reporting: Analyze and extract data from the system, manipulating it to build complex reports.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand processes, requirements, and possible improvements.
Your Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in automated manufacturing engineering, LOM (Logistics Operations Management), industrial engineering, or BAA with a specialization in LOM.
  2. Experience: Minimum two years of experience in a similar position.
  3. Language: Bilingualism is required.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the aeronautics field is an asset.
  5. Certifications: CPIM from APICS is an asset.
  6. Technical Skills: Power BI knowledge is an asset.
  7. Soft Skills: Team player, results-oriented, actively participates in ongoing improvement, dynamism, and expanded collaboration.
  8. Environment: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
