Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at HFX FOODHUB INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Budget Analysis and Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to boost and maintain profits.
- Daily Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Marketing and Customer Service: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements: Permanent position, 30-40 hours per week, English language, and a strong understanding of restaurant operations and management principles.
