Job Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing real estate acquisition, renewal, and disposition strategies for assigned portfolios of properties. This role requires a strong understanding of clients' objectives, business drivers, and needs, as well as excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend real estate acquisition, renewal, and disposition strategies that meet clients' needs and optimize value delivery.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure service delivery obligations are met and executed in accordance with requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, brokers, landlords, and real estate industry professionals.
  • Conduct analysis and develop business cases to support recommendations.
  • Develop and execute approaches to reduce occupancy costs.
  • Stay current with industry practices and trends.
  • Assist with business development plans to achieve corporate objectives.

Requirements

  • Community college diploma in business administration or related field.
  • Over 5 years of real estate transactions work experience in commercial or retail sector.
  • Expert-level real estate acquisition, renewal, and disposition strategy development and execution skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Highly skilled at persuading, influencing, and negotiating with others to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Expert-level relationship management skills and ability to develop and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Expert-level real estate transactions-related documentations development, application, and interpretation skills.
  • Highly advanced analytical skills to identify optimum real estate cost structures, pricing, and value for clients.
  • Strong market research skills and current knowledge of market trends and conditions.
  • Current knowledge of industry practices, trends, and requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of real estate legislative requirements for assigned province.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

  • Real Estate License – required for Quebec and an asset if licensed in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland.
