Position Overview

Your Contribution at GEI Consultants, Inc.

GEI Consultants, Inc. is in search of motivated professionals eager to enhance our land development and water resources division. This role will be integral to our engineering practice, focusing on diverse projects in various environments. The Markham, Ontario office is where you will support initiatives related to civil site design for residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal developments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist Project Managers in overseeing residential subdivision projects from initial design to construction and final acceptance.
  2. Conduct conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering designs for an array of land development initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with technical experts within the land development team as project requirements dictate.
  4. Prepare and review engineering drawing sets, technical documentation, reports, construction plans, and specifications.

Qualifications

  1. A minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
  3. Proven experience in engineering design for residential subdivisions and site plan development projects.
  4. Familiarity with standard analysis software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools is preferred.
  5. Demonstrated strong work ethic and high motivation levels.
  6. Experience in drafting and evaluating technical reports.
  7. Dedication to achieving technical excellence.
