Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Land Development team at IBI Group. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering transformational outcomes for our clients by guiding projects from start to finish, providing technical direction, and ensuring that client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Delivery: Guide projects from start to finish, including due diligence, conceptual design, and detailed design.
  2. Technical Direction: Provide technical direction and design review for multiple simultaneous land development files, with a focus on ICI and Residential Mixed Use Site Plan projects.
  3. Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain approvals and ensure client satisfaction.
  4. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project engineers and technologists to ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Business Development: Undertake business development activities with new and existing clients to pursue new projects and cross-sell other practice areas.
  6. Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of projects, including control and management of project finances.

Requirements:

  1. 7 to 10 years of experience in land development project management.
  2. Experience working on land development projects in the GTA.
  3. Direct experience with the design and approval process for projects with various municipalities.
  4. Complete knowledge base for construction methodologies for land development projects.
  5. Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Diploma.
