About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Project Manager to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Design & Engineering team, you will be responsible for guiding projects from start to finish, providing technical direction, and ensuring that client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete and review proposals, change orders, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Guide projects through due diligence, conceptual design, and detailed design phases.
  • Provide technical direction and design review for multiple simultaneous land development files, with a focus on ICI and Residential Mixed Use Site Plan projects.
  • Lead and/or independently prepare Functional Servicing reports in support of potential land development projects.
  • Liaise with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Supervise and mentor project engineers and technologists to ensure project success.
  • Ensure that client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Undertake business development activities with new and existing clients to pursue new projects and cross-sell other practice areas.
  • Manage project finances and ensure project profitability.
Requirements
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in land development project management.
  • Experience working on land development projects in the GTA.
  • Direct experience with the design and approval process for projects with various municipalities.
  • Complete knowledge base for construction methodologies for land development projects.
  • Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Diploma.
