In response to strategic growth, Arcadis is seeking a seasoned Land Development Project Manager specializing in Site Plan Projects for our Toronto office.

Working within our Design & Engineering teams, you'll create iconic and groundbreaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together.

This role sits within our global business area Places, where we work with clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe, and sustainable places where people live, work, learn, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete and review proposals, change orders, and other business documents.
  • Guide projects from start to finish, including due diligence, conceptual design, and detailed design.
  • Provide technical direction, design review, and detailed design on multiple simultaneous land development files with a focus on Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) and Residential Mixed Use Site Plan projects.
  • Lead and/or independently prepare Functional Servicing reports in support of potential land development projects.
  • Liaise with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Supervise and mentor project engineers and technologists.
  • Ensure that clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Engage in business development activities with new and existing clients to pursue new projects and cross-sell other practice areas.
  • Manage projects, including control and management of financial aspects.

Requirements:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in land development projects.
  • Experience working on land development projects in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • Direct experience with the design and approval process for projects with various municipalities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge base for construction methodologies for land development projects.
  • Civil Engineering degree or diploma.
