Position Overview
Your Contribution at GEI Consultants, Inc.
GEI Consultants, Inc. is on the lookout for dedicated professionals eager to enhance our land development and water resources division. We value collaboration with a skilled team of design, management, and technical experts. This role will bolster our land development engineering operations in our Ontario office, delivering services across various environments. Typical projects include civil site design for residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in residential subdivision projects from initial design through to construction and final acceptance.
- Engage in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for diverse land development initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical resources within the land development team as project needs arise.
- Prepare and review engineering drawing sets, technical documentation, reports, construction plans, and specifications.
Qualifications Required
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in engineering design for residential subdivisions and site plan land development projects.
- Proficiency with standard analysis software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and high motivation levels.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing technical reports.
- Commitment to achieving technical excellence.
