Woodworking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at Build It Back. As a key member of our woodworking team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Woodworking Machines: Safely operate various woodworking machines, including table saws, miter saws, and sanders, to cut, shape, and form wood parts.
- Design and Build Cabinets: Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets, taking into account customer requirements and design preferences.
- Surface Preparation: Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces to achieve a smooth finish.
- Training and Development: Instruct apprentices in woodworking techniques and best practices.
- Plan Review: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Assembly and Finishing: Trim joints and fit parts together, and apply finishes to wood surfaces.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures to meet customer needs.
- Cabinets: Design and build custom cabinets for residential and commercial applications.
- Furniture: Create high-quality furniture pieces, including tables, chairs, and other woodwork items.
- Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Wear steel-toed safety boots at all times while working in the woodworking area.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule.
- English Language Proficiency: English language proficiency is required for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
- Working Hours: Work a regular schedule of 30-45 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
