We are seeking a skilled Mattress Maker to join our team at Les Matelas Lapensee Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing, sanding, and trimming wooden furniture and fixture parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Woodworking and Assembly: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
  • Quality Control: Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
  • Record Keeping: Record information on products inspected.
  • Minor Repairs: Make minor adjustments and repairs to defective parts or products.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Manual Dexterity: You must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform tasks accurately.
  • Team Player: You will work as part of a team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience in woodworking and furniture assembly is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
