Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team at TDOT BUILDERS GROUP LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of buildings, from foundation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and ensure compliance with building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
