We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker and Finisher to join our team at Masterpiece Granite & Marble Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made and translate them into reality.
- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, as well as prepare and apply laminated plastics.
- Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products to achieve a flawless finish.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Supervise and guide other workers to ensure efficient production and high-quality results.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer demands.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment with a standard 30-40 hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
