TULIP E-COMMERCE AND LOGISTICS is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Daily Operations: Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to optimize our logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Recruit and Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of logistics professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics department.
- Manage Finances and Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of our logistics operations, including budgeting and cost control.
- Arrange for Shipping Documentation and Tracking: Coordinate with shipping providers to ensure accurate and timely documentation and tracking of goods in transit.
- Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate for Services and Rates: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services.
- Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Monitor Revenue and Performance: Analyze revenue and performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize logistics operations.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
