About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at TULIP E-COMMERCE AND LOGISTICS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze and optimize our daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Recruit and Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of logistics professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Manage Finances and Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of our logistics department, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Arrange for Shipping Documentation and Tracking: Ensure that all shipping documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and that goods are properly tracked and traced.
  • Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate for Services and Rates: Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure the best rates and services for our company.
  • Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Monitor Revenue: Monitor and analyze revenue streams to identify areas for improvement and optimize our logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
