About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Taekwondo Instructor to join our team at Kim's Premier Taekwondo. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality martial arts instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and deliver engaging and challenging martial arts classes that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
    • Provide individualized attention and feedback to students to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Program Development
    • Contribute to the development of new martial arts programs and services that meet the needs of our students and the community.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement special events and activities that promote martial arts and wellness.
  • Student Support
    • Provide guidance and support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
    • Work with students to develop and implement personalized training plans that meet their needs and goals.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all students and staff members follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent injuries and ensure a safe learning environment.
    • Report any incidents or concerns to management in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven experience in teaching and instructing martial arts
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical fitness and ability to perform martial arts techniques
