Edmonton, Canada Jeon's Traditional Taekwondo Full time

**Overview**

**Availability Monday-Saturday, mostly evenings with flexibility.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn the Jeon’s Traditional Taekwondo curriculum, including sparring and self-defence, as well as WT Kukkiwon regulated poomsae.
- Adhere to the class structure by operating fun and applicable warm-up segments and/or kicking technique segments.
- Address a large group of students with ease.
- Provide positive reinforcement to all students.
- Motivate students to improve at each rank.
- Provide adequate feedback to each student so as to ensure their improvement.
- Works to create a strong team with Instructors and Masters.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children.
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- University Degree (preferred).
- Minimum 3rd Dan Black Belt Kukkiwon certification for **Senior Instructor** role. _**(Foreign experience without Kukkiwon certification will be considered i.e. Philippines, Iran, Turkey, Mexico etc.)**_._
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Basic command of the English language required.
- Experience in poomsae competition or sparring competition (preffered).

**Salary**: $15.50-$21.50 per hour

Part-time hours: 20- 35 per week

Schedule:

- 7 hours shift
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Night shift
