Your Role as a Civil/Municipal Engineer

Work Environment

In this position, you will be part of our local team, contributing to significant infrastructure initiatives while collaborating with colleagues across North America on large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the evaluation, planning, design, and management of civil and municipal infrastructure projects, including site grading, development, street upgrades, water systems, wastewater management, stormwater solutions, parking, and active transportation.
  • Drafting construction specifications, technical drawings, and bid documents.
  • Managing project financials and timelines.
  • Interacting with various stakeholders, including project owners, contractors, sub-consultants, operational teams, utility providers, businesses, and the community.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities for junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) from the relevant engineering association.
  • 7+ years of pertinent professional experience.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
