About the Role

As a Civil Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing a customer-focused technical, design, and engineering strategy that will support our future growth plans. You will work closely with our leadership team to drive innovation and operational excellence, and build strong client relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a talented team of engineers and designers to deliver innovative solutions
  • Develop and implement a technical, design, and engineering strategy that aligns with our business goals
  • Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Represent the business through external trade and legislative bodies
  • Manage and develop a cross-functional team across the UK

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of technical or civil engineering experience
  • A relevant engineering qualification to degree/chartered level
  • Experience using design software packages such as AUTOCAD, Revit, or 3D Civils
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver with a professional, 'can do' attitude
  • Experience of people and change management
  • Ability to work at leadership level to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Previous experience within the drainage, water management, or SuDS sectors is desirable
