Farm Supervisor Job Description

95 Enterprises LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Farm Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our agricultural farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient growth and development of crops, as well as the overall management of farm staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement crop growth strategies, taking into account factors such as water saturation, light, and temperature.
  • Supervise and oversee the cutting of agricultural crops, ensuring high-quality produce.
  • Develop and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize farm operations.
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Mix and apply fertilizers to maintain soil fertility.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
  • Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Maintain accurate records of farm production and quality control.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Supervision:
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members.
  • Work a 40-hour week, with a permanent work term.
  • Work language: English.
