About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at H D B Farms Ltd. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and farm safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Health and Welfare: Monitor the health and well-being of our livestock, identifying and addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Task Management: Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the farm, including the management of farm machinery and equipment.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of our farm workers and harvesting labourers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of farm production, financials, and animal performance.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, negotiating and delivering high-quality services that meet their needs.
  • Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
