Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Superfast Workforce Solutions Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Vehicles: Safely operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents to dispatchers or supervisors, and communicate with passengers, dispatchers, or other drivers using two-way radio systems.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Logbook and Reporting: Complete logbooks and reports accurately and on time, providing detailed information about vehicle operations and passenger interactions.
  • Public Interaction: Deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. We are open to training the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our operations.
