Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing services to patients in chronic or long-term care facilities, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

* Provide nursing services to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
* Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with the healthcare team
* Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files
* Take vital signs and monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
* Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families

Requirements:

* Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
* College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Experience an asset
