Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing nursing services to patients in a variety of settings. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide nursing services, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia
  • Completion of a recognized LPN program
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or acute care environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
