Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
  • Take vital signs, monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy, and provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience an asset.
