Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality menu items in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, following standardized recipes and procedures.
  • Assist with food preparation, including mise en place and other tasks as required.
  • Receive and store stock, labeling and dating items as necessary.
  • Clean and maintain culinary equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts and assist with other tasks as directed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School Diploma required; post-secondary culinary education an asset.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of culinary experience, with a focus on food preparation and presentation.
  • Food Handling Certification required; WHMIS and Smart Serve Certificates an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful criminal background check required.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) an asset but not required.
