Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food products to the highest standards, while maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food products as directed by senior kitchen staff
  • Set up and maintain mise en place, including garnishes, sauces, and other products
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to health and safety standards
  • Receive and store stock, labeling and dating as required
  • May serve staff meals and take orders in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Count and manage inventory as directed
  • Attend regular culinary meetings to discuss menu planning and kitchen operations
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless service and communication
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary education an asset
  • Minimum 6 months of culinary experience; Red Seal certification through ITA or current enrollment an asset
  • Food Safety Certification and ability to obtain a Gaming License
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing and walking for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment

This is a regular kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, and odors. You will be required to lift, carry, push, pull, stretch, and bend, with some exposure to fumes and chemicals.
