About the Opportunity:
The Culinary Team Member plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff to prepare food items according to the menu and daily specials. This position is vital in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring that all meals are prepared and served promptly. Key qualifications for this role include basic culinary skills, knowledge of safety standards, customer service aptitude, effective time management, and the stamina to work for extended periods.

Deliver outstanding hospitality to both colleagues and guests as outlined in our service standards. Ensure safe food handling and sanitation practices are adhered to in a fast-paced environment. Prepare, clean, and cook a variety of proteins, vegetables, and starches. Execute menu items for various cooking methods including roasting, grilling, and sautéing. Portion food items prior to cooking based on standard sizes and recipe guidelines. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace. Capable of preparing all food from raw to finished state, managing stock rotation, receiving orders, and proper storage. Follow recipes and presentation standards as established by management. Restock supplies as necessary throughout the shift and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and service areas. Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner. Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of food preparation equipment and work areas. Operate dishwashing equipment; ensure all dishes are cleaned and stored correctly. Verify that dishwashing equipment is functioning properly; perform routine cleaning and maintenance. Stock food and utensils in serving areas and storage locations. Monitor and document dish machine temperatures and sanitizer levels daily. Exhibit teamwork and a positive attitude while assisting fellow staff members. Comply with all health and safety regulations. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards. Arrive punctually for all scheduled shifts. Understand and follow all company policies related to the role. Engage in ongoing training and share best practices with team members. Be responsible for personal time management and punctuality. Wear the designated uniform and maintain personal grooming standards. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.Requirements & Qualifications:
Equivalent qualifications recognized by the relevant educational authority. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a kitchen setting is preferred. Culinary or hospitality education is advantageous. Food Handlers Certificate is mandatory. Basic math skills are required. A strong service orientation is essential. Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays is required. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment. A positive demeanor and strong work ethic are crucial. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Willingness to perform tasks both indoors and outdoors. Compliance with safety protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.About Us:
