About the Role

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple residential mid-rise wood frame/hybrid construction projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery
  • Develop and maintain a master construction schedule with a clear critical path
  • Control budget, schedule, and resource allocation to ensure project success
  • Foster a positive team culture, promoting professional development and work ethic
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, including conflict resolution and effective communication
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and staff to ensure project success
  • Negotiate subcontracts and major purchases to achieve best value
  • Oversee quality assurance and risk management to minimize project risks
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Resolve design and construction challenges to maintain project momentum
  • Build lasting relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and community members
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in residential or mixed-use wood frame/hybrid construction
  • Experience with concrete foundations, including podium-style parking garage/suspended slabs
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
  • Certificate in Project Management is an asset
  • Start-to-finish experience with wood frame projects
  • Proficiency in computer skills and strong working knowledge of construction management software
  • Experience with BIM is considered an asset
  • Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
  • Highly organized with superb time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
