About the Role

Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our Information Management and Technology (IMIT) department, you will be responsible for leading large, complex projects from concept to successful implementation and review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including risk management, critical path management, and interdependencies.
  • Collaborate with directors, managers, and key partners to ensure the establishment and implementation of organizational, departmental, and project goals and objectives.
  • Lead project teams and direct all activities related to the initiative, providing guidance and coaching to stakeholders as needed.
  • Develop and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external project partners to manage expectations and requirements.
  • Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets for assigned projects.
  • Work with software vendors and other external service providers to negotiate contract terms and pricing.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor standards for service and performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and standards.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
