Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Beach Grove Golf Club (1960) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service, meeting the needs of our guests and exceeding their expectations.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
