About the Role

The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician is responsible for executing cleaning and sterilization tasks to fulfill the requirements of departmental clients. This role involves adhering to established protocols and rotating through various sections including decontamination, processing, and distribution. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management as necessary.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a recognized medical device reprocessing training program is mandatory. Certification as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician is preferred. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.

In cases where applicants have not completed the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Program, candidates currently enrolled in an accredited program may be considered for a Medical Device Reprocessing in Training position.

It is essential to ensure that your resume includes all pertinent education, experience, training, and certifications.

Work Schedule

This is a Long Assignment Part-Time position (60%); totaling 45 hours bi-weekly. The role involves various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage is $24.68. Successful candidates may qualify for a benefits package.
