About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at J Inc. as a Sales Supervisor. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and increase revenue.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to improve their sales skills and performance.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in our head office.
  • Tasks: The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
    • Assigning sales workers to duties
    • Hiring and training or arranging for training of staff
    • Authorizing return of merchandise
    • Establishing work schedules
    • Selling merchandise
    • Preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
    • Resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
    • Organizing and maintaining inventory
    • Supervising and co-ordinating activities of workers
    • Conducting performance reviews
  • Supervision: The Sales Supervisor will supervise 1 to 2 people.
  • Product or Manufacturing Design: The Sales Supervisor will work with personal care items.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: The Sales Supervisor will use their own transportation and public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The Sales Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: The Sales Supervisor will use a cellular phone.
  • Personal Suitability: The Sales Supervisor will require accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organization, reliability, and team player skills.
  • Screening Questions: The Sales Supervisor will be asked if they have previous experience in this field of employment.
  • Experience: The Sales Supervisor will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Duration of Employment: The Sales Supervisor will have a permanent position.
  • Language of Work: The Sales Supervisor will work in English.
  • Hours of Work: The Sales Supervisor will work 30 hours per week.
