Sales Representative for Product Support at Toromont Material Handling
The primary role of the Sales Representative for Product Support is to establish, qualify, and nurture relationships with clients in the designated area while enhancing sales of parts and service solutions through technical knowledge and outstanding relationship management with maintenance coordinators.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Demonstrate safe and environmentally conscious work practices at all times to uphold Toromont's Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and initiatives
  • Increase parts sales, facilitate component exchanges, and deliver customer support to secure agreements
  • Aid in formulating programs to meet objectives aligned with the department to support the customer base
  • Contribute to the development of marketing and prospecting strategies as well as closing tactics for new business
  • Collaborate with respective MSRs and ISRs to promote a cooperative selling approach
  • Create and execute an annual territory plan aligned with regional and corporate goals
  • Keep clients updated on new products and offerings from Caterpillar
  • Monitor competitive literature or advertising to ensure our clients receive the best pricing

Qualifications for this Position:

  • Post-secondary education
  • At least 5 years of experience in product support sales
