About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team at W & M Wire & Metal Product Ltd. in an urban area. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Assess client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Deliver sales presentations to clients and stakeholders to promote our products and services.
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Provide input into product design to ensure our products meet client needs.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Resolve product and service-related problems to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists to ensure team productivity.
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a sales or technical role.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook, MS Word.
  • Sales experience: Manufacturing and industrial products.
  • Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail.
  • Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone.
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, team player.
  • Government programs: Recognized employer.
