Job Title: Operations and Relations Manager

The University of Waterloo is seeking an experienced Operations and Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Network for Aging Research, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing relations, and coordinating events to advance aging research at our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Network for Aging Research, including financial management, relations management, and events coordination.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the Network's mission and goals, including communication activities and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of research proposals, including background research, fact-checking, and translation of technical information.
  • Provide financial management and budgeting support for the Network, including analysis and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including university administrators, researchers, and community partners.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Education, Business/Finance, or Health preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar administrative support role, including financial management and event coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
