About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Aankia Foods Inc. DBA The Tikka Bar. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats
    • Clean and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting
    • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer specifications
    • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale
    • Remove bones from meat to ensure quality and safety
  • Meat Preparation and Processing
    • Cut poultry into parts to meet customer demand
    • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
    • Cut fish into steaks and fillets to meet customer specifications
    • Grind meats to meet customer requirements
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure all meats are prepared and presented to meet high standards of quality and presentation
    • Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of our customers
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of physical activity
    • Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
  • Personal Qualities and Experience
    • Be accurate and detail-oriented in all aspects of the role
