About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Thrifty Foods. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing meat products for customer purchase and meat displays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with friendly and professional service while preparing meat products for customer purchase and meat displays.
- Actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
- Prepare meat products to meet customer needs.
- Maintain the meat department area to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Receive and process meat orders in a timely manner.
- Perform special order meat product requests.
- Participate in professional development to improve skills and knowledge.
- Meet company meat standards and Canadian Food Inspection Agency regulations (CFIA).
