We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Thrifty Foods. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their meat purchases and answering questions about our products.
- Prepare meat products for customer purchase, including cutting, trimming, and wrapping.
- Maintain a clean and organized meat department, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Receive and process meat orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on meat cutting techniques and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Meat Manager and other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 12 months of experience in a meat cutting or related role.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
