About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Aankia Foods Inc. DBA The Tikka Bar. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats
    • Clean and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting
    • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer specifications
    • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale
    • Remove bones from meat to ensure quality and safety
  • Meat Processing
    • Cut poultry into parts to meet customer demand
    • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
    • Cut fish into steaks and fillets to meet customer specifications
    • Grind meats to meet customer requirements
  • Customer Service
    • Prepare special orders to meet customer needs
    • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to meet customer specifications
    Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter at Aankia Foods Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset, but not required
