About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Aankia Foods Inc. DBA The Tikka Bar. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats
    • Clean and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting
    • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters into standard cuts of meat
    • Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
    • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
  • Meat Processing
    • Cut fish into steaks and fillets
    • Grind meats to desired consistency
    • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity
    • Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be accurate and detail-oriented in your work
    • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
    • Work well as part of a team to achieve common goals
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands of the job
