This position is a contract role focused on overseeing multiple locations.
Become a vital part of Bento Inc., a company that operates over 5600 locations worldwide. With a presence in both Canada and the United States, we bring together a diverse team dedicated to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Location:
The ideal candidate should be based in the London or Hamilton area and must be willing to travel to various locations in Western Ontario.
- Oversee the daily management and operations of assigned locations, including personnel management, food safety, customer service, sales, and food quality.
- Responsible for the recruitment, training, development, and motivation of subcontractors.
- Conduct regular visits to stores and kiosks to ensure compliance with Bento's regulatory standards, including quality assurance, food safety, and health and safety protocols, ensuring prompt corrective actions are taken.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with store management and third-party auditors.
- Facilitate new store openings and implement new product or program launches.
- Adjust production plans regularly to enhance profitability at each location through effective sales strategies and waste management.
- Ensure accurate completion of Daily Production Reports, checklists, and operational reports.
- Conduct monthly Quality Assurance and Bento Compliance Audits.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- At least 1 year of experience in food service management, ideally in a multi-unit setting.
- Experience in the sushi industry is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the designated region and maintain a flexible schedule to meet operational demands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Self-driven and focused on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing stress effectively.
