About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our aviation infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Mace's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects, preferably in the aviation sector.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in construction and project management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
