Insurance Account Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Account Representative to join our Desjardins Agent Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business leads and expand our customer base.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to our clients, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Marketing and Sales: Work with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals, identifying customer needs and marketing appropriate products and services.
- Sales Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience in a related field, such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and come up with creative solutions.
- Customer Service: Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Licenses and Certifications: Property & Casualty license, Life & Health License, and Mutual Fund License (must be able to obtain).
