About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Account Representative to join our team at Hussein Khalil - Desjardins Insurance Agent. As an Insurance Account Representative, you will play a critical role in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Marketing and Sales: Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, develop sales strategies, and implement effective sales techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements:
- Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proactive in problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand insurance products and services, as well as the business needs of customers.
- License Requirements: Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license (must be able to obtain).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary and Commission: $45,000 - $75,000 per year, with opportunities for commission-based earnings.
- Benefits: Full health benefits, including dental, prescription drugs, and vision coverage.
