Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Dépanneur Lemoyne. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of merchandise.
    • Monitor inventory levels, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, promoting loyalty and repeat business.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
    • Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop sales workers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Monitor employee performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity and job satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language
    • Fluency in French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
