Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Dépanneur Lemoyne. As a key member of our retail staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train and develop staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage cash handling and reconcile daily sales and cash transactions.
    • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
    • Authorize returns and exchanges, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and submit sales reports, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Ensure a clean and organized store environment, maintaining high standards of presentation and display.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Proficiency in French language, both written and spoken.
