We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at Dépanneur Lemoyne. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience and maintaining a high level of store appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Order merchandise and maintain an accurate inventory of stock.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Manage cash and maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
