About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Busaba Thai Cafe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient systems and procedures to meet business objectives
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resources
    • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring optimal staffing levels
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and address any issues
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues
    • Monitor customer feedback and use it to improve the overall customer experience
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
    • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are in line with business objectives
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and labor costs
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and other relevant data
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
