Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Panago Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

Scheduling and Planning

Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.

Experience

Experience in a food service environment is an asset, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures is essential.

Language

Fluency in English is required, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers is essential.

Work Schedule

A 30-35 hour work week is typical for this role, and flexibility to work varied shifts is required.
