Job Description

Job Title: Program Coordinator - Training and Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator - Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Ourcommons. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a wide range of initiatives designed to support the engagement of Ourcommons employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to design engaging activities that foster a positive work environment and promote employee well-being.
  • Coordinate various learning and training initiatives to enhance employee growth and development.
  • Prepare communications and reports for diverse audiences with clarity and relevance.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Services team.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, Project or Event Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience planning, developing, and coordinating programs and/or initiatives, preferably related to employee engagement, organizational development, or human resources.
  • Experience organizing and managing events, workshops, and/or learning and training initiatives for organizational development and engagement.
  • Experience developing strong working relationships with clients and with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) to create, maintain, and update databases, as well as to generate reports, statistics, and communication materials.
